Im 14 Jahrhundert als gotische Backsteinkirche erbaut, wurde die Kirche 1792 umgebaut und als klassizistische Saalkirche mit ca. 400 Plätzen errichtet.
Das Innere beherrscht eine mächtige Schauwand mit einem Kreuzigungsbild (1520 - 1530). Große Logen von 1793 / 94 für die Güter Gelting, Düttebüll, Priesholz und Oehe betonen die Bedeutung des Adels.

Built in the 14th century as a Gothic brick church, the church was rebuilt in 1792 and built as a classical hall church with around 400 seats.
The interior is dominated by a mighty wall with an image of the Crucifixion (1520 - 1530). Large boxes from 1793/94 for the Gelting, Düttebüll, Priesholz and Oehe estates emphasize the importance of the nobility.

Bygget i det 14. Århundrede som en gotisk murstenskirke, blev kirken genopbygget i 1792 og bygget som en klassisk hallkirke med ca. 400 pladser.
Interiøret er domineret af en mægtig udstillingsvæg med et korsfæstelsesbillede (1520 – 1530). Store hytter fra 1793 / 94 til ejendommene Gelting, Düttebüll, Priesholz og Oehe understreger adelens betydning.
